What Vouchover is
Vouchover is a tool for capturing the real-world condition of a physical item or completed work at a specific moment, and sealing that capture into a shareable record called a Vouch. A Vouch shows what the camera saw, when it was captured, and who created it.
What a Vouch is — and isn't
A Vouch documents condition at a moment in time. Vouchover sits before the transaction: it helps both sides see the same evidence before they decide. We are not an inspector, appraiser, escrow service, or guarantor. We do not verify the truth of what a creator captures, and we are not a party to any deal made around a Vouch. The decision — and the deal — belong to the people making them.
Your account
You sign in with an email code. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Credits and payment
Vouches are created using credits. Payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Credits you purchase as an individual never expire. Pro plans add a monthly pool of credits shared by your team, refreshed each billing cycle — unused pool credits don't carry over. While you're on a team, the team's pool pays for your Vouches; any personal credits simply wait, unused and unexpired, until you leave.
Refunds
If something breaks on our side — you pay and don't receive your credits, or a sealed Vouch is lost — we make it right: we restore it or refund it. If you've bought credits you haven't used and change your mind, email privacy@vouchover.com within 30 days and we'll refund the unused credits.
The seal
Once a Vouch is sealed, it cannot be edited — by you or by us. That is the point of the product. You may delete a sealed Vouch; you may never alter one. Deleting removes it for everyone with the link.
Sharing
A Vouch is shared by link. Anyone with the link can view that Vouch. Don't share a link you wouldn't want seen.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vouchover for anything illegal. Don't capture what you have no right to capture. Don't attempt to defraud the seal — staging captures to deceive, misrepresenting an item, or attempting to tamper with a sealed record. We can suspend accounts that abuse the tool.
Deleting your account
Email privacy@vouchover.com and we'll delete your account and its data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Liability
Vouchover provides the record; people make the decisions. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from transactions conducted around a Vouch or decisions made on the basis of one. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Changes
When these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; meaningful changes get a notice on the site.
